Which side? Maintenance or Operations

I had a phone interview today for an Operations position. While talking with the recruiter she mentioned a position on the Maintenance side (Planning) that I may be qualified for. It is salary and day shift. Operations is shift and hourly of course. I'm a pipefitter by trade so naturally I am more knowledgeable in maintenance at this point. However I am going to school for Ops.



Now if I was fortunate enough to have the problem of choosing, which one would you pick?
