2Cool Poll

Texas has the largest number of oil refineries in the US but, for reasons I won’t go into, has drastically few non-ethanol retail outlets in contrast. Of those non-ethanol retail outlets it does have, most are supplied by refineries out-of-state. That’s why most of them are spread along the eastern border. They’re still within reasonable distance to keep the out-of-state delivery costs competitive to the market manipulated lower cost of ethanol blends. Trucking non-ethanol gasoline further into Texas, say to Conroe, would tend to increase the price. So, I’m wondering … just how much would you be willing to pay for a gallon of non-ethanol gasoline?
