The fish sure are liking this cooler weather. Anyone wanting to do some catching, the fish seem really hungry right now.
Today I had Brad and son Ryan fishing, with mom Rhonda, watching, on Lake Somerville. First place we stopped, not a bite...second place we stopped, not stop bite.
It was Ryan's birthday trip, so he made the most of it and really got some nice fish up to 6#.
Creeks running slower than I expected. Water level on a slight rise, a little less than full pool. Water temps 78 degrees.
They ended the morning at 11 am with 50 nice cats, several 2-5# size. All fish caught on CJ's Shad punch bait, under corks, in 3-7 foot water.
