Gulp replacement

Guys, I realized today that one gulp mullet costs me around $1. Those shrimps with fancy tails -- $1.50. So, each time some croaker nips that bloody tail -- it is minus one dollar.

I end up spending extra $10 every time I go fishing. This is crazy, this must stop.



Is there any decent replacement for Gulps? (I am thinking in context of reds and incoming flounder run).
