Glue

Does anyone know of a glue that that I can glue plastic trash bag plastic together with.. I want to fold it over 1/2 inch and glue it to the main part of the bag....this is the part that will go around the string....I'm making some kites and I want to use the trash bag for the body..

It will need a strong bond and It needs to be fast drying too...



I tried super glue and no go.....only thing that stuck together was my fingers...
