I have Vacation Rental 4 homes on SGI. Two are right on the Beach, one is one house back and one is Bayfront.
All are professionally mantained and available for rental year round.
SGI is the barrier island in front of Apalachicola Bay. The Beaches are rated in the Top 10 in the Country every year (Kate's first SI Cover was shot on the Island), and the fishing is just off the charts.
Take a look at the Google Earth shots of the bay, there are over 25 miles of grass flats on SGI alone, and more reefs and flats than can be counted in the bay. It is odd to see more that 2 or three other fishermen on them in a day of fishing. And no one (but me) wades, and we crush um wading.The Redfish Run Inn is on the bay on a Flat that produces year round. Just walk out and start fishing. This is the place where we curse at the 8# Redfish because we can't get our baits past them to catch the 8# Trout.
