Had a chance to do a little fishing this weekend. I Launched the boat out of Caney Creek both Saturday, and Sunday, and ran out to several different spots, mainly looking for bait and bird activity. There was no luck to be had Saturday, Sunday, however, was a little more promising. It warmed up nicely and the Turns were hitting the water pretty hard over around Tri-Pod. There was plenty of bait/Mullet jumping, but I just couldn't get em to bite.
I had one blow up with a Plum-Chart Tail around noon time, other than that, no fish. Anyway, I'm wondering if anyone is having any luck on East Matagorda?
