I have a 55" Vizio LED in the cave. Basically brand new tv but about 3 years old. VERY little run time. 10 or 12 games, same amount of movies and 20 or so hours of regular tv, basically nothing for it to just quit.
The power would come on for just a second then shut off. Did that several times and then died. Took it to a friend/computer repair guy and he swapped three or four parts, even a free one direct from Vizio on their review/advise. No deal.
So now, I am at the crossroads. Chunk a basically brand new tv or take it to a tv repair guy? I think my buddy has done everything that can be done to it, but hate to just chunk $1G worth of plastic.
