1k yard match at Bayou Rifles

There will be two more 1000 yard matches at Bayou Rifles this year. Next one is Nov 2 at the Juliff Range in Manvel. For FT/R all you need is a 223 or 308 with a bipod and ammo that can stay supersonic at the target. 60 shots prone and all competitors will work pit duty as well. For any bayou members these matches also qualify you to have access to the 600 - 1000 yard range once the match director signs you off. You dont have to be a member to come out and shoot. $20 for non-members and $15 for BR members.



I shot this match last month with a borrowed rifle and ammo and did fine. Just run your ballistics on a calculator and check your dope at 200 and 600 and dial the rest in for 1000. That should get you on paper easily. Lets see those 1/2 moa all day rifles come one out and shoot.
