Down here on Galveston and the surf looks beautiful. I know the rubber lips are running in the surf but I am thinking about a wade trip for some specs. It's been cool in the mornings with temps in the low 60's but warming to the mid 80's in the afternoon. What's the latest time in the year when you have caught specs in the surf? For me it has always been about the middle of September.
