The horses we rescued...

MANY of you know the story the 18 horses my wife and I rescued, some here helped with that rescue... As a result of that effort, we were gifted with an old racehorse and took on 2 others in that rescue...



We knew him as Noah, but found out his racehorse name was Smokeys Song... he was like 20 yrs old when we got him... I posted these stories here, but am, so exhausted tonight, didnt make the effort to provide the links.



Today, our old racehorce got real sick, real fast and we had to make the difficult decision to put him down after a long day struggle to try and get him through it. Its been a very tough day and a looooong night so far.



Gods Speed Noah....We are PROUD to know that although you had a tough life, your final years were spent with total love and respect for the BEING you were. YOU were a TRUE GENTLE-Man



We were with him until his final breath... Donna and I loved on him and helped him transition to the Bridge while he left this place, and it is a tough night...
