New car buying...

How do you deal with salesman? I have heard numerous success stories of ppl who go in and get a steal, others pay sticker price and just leave... What are some effective ways to get the price you want? Or get the price as low as possible?



This is my first new vehicle buying experience and so I have no clue how to go about negotiating. Any tips or advise would be greatly appreciated.
