Corn Meal Batter...HELP!

I had to stop eating wheat recently, I need somebody to school me on just using corn meal or corn flour for frying fish. I tried egg bath then masa tonight, then masa plus corn meal. Not the same as the wheat based fish frys.



I need some tips. sad_smiles
