Ok all, I'm considering a 2011-2014 Toyota Tundra 4x4 with a moderate lift (say 3-4") and large/aggressive tires (say 35" mud terrains)... I want to get some of your experiences with the same truck. What kind of mileage do you get (hand calculated not what a screen says)? How's the ride? How's the off-road performance? How are the on-road manners on long trips?
I currently own a 2011 Toyota FJ Cruiser, with a 3" lift and 33" mud tires, and I love the thing! But I've been thinking of going back to my truck roots at some point... sell me on it, or tell me to stay where I'm at. I get 15.5 mpg average with mixed driving.
And if you do own a Tundra as described above, post of pic of that bad boy!
If you own a Tundra without a lift on stock tires... I don't really want your opinion on ride and mileage, because it's two different animals. If you own a Chevy, Dodge, or Ford... your comments would just be clutter as Toyota has sold me for life.
