2cool brain trust - I've got a classic mako 258 walk around and am looking at putting on a trolling motor with the iPilot feature. 2 questions:
1. Do you have to have a hummingbird for the anchor feature to work?
2. Does Minn Kota make a transom mounted unit with the iPilot technology?
3. Has anyone taken a bow mounted unit and put it on the stern?
4. Alternatively, do I have it all wrong & could I put a bow mounted unit on this boat?
Any other thoughts or suggestions? I'm just very interested in the anchor feature. That would be the main reason for me spending that kind of cheese on a trolling motor.
