Weather.What do you do?

I had everything ready to go last night and a group of people meeting me at the ramp at 5:30am. Get up at 4am to check the weather only to find a line of thunder storms forming right over where we we gonna fish. I hate letting people down, but I hate putting people's life at risk even more, so I canceled at 5:20am. There was a small chance that the storm could stall or change direction but my gut told me to cancel. I will know in the next hour if I made the right decision. Having been caught in several dangerous situations on the water over the years, I've come to the conclusion that a few fish is not worth risking your life for. What do ya'll do in this situation? Take a chance and hope for the best or play it safe.
