Surfside beachfront

Had plans of hitting East Galvez, but radar said otherwise. Launched in the Brazos and headed to the MOB. Water was off color. Fished several spots between Brazos and SanBenard with only gafftop to show for it. Headed to the Surfside jetty pocket to see if the water would be in better shape there. Found green water plenty of bait and saw many large sharks working over the bait out beyond the bars. Moved into 2nd and 3rd gut area and started catching nice trout on Mirrodine XL's.



Ended up with 14 trout and one Spanish Mackerel. Gullets had small shrimp. Really small shrimp. Most trout were full of eggs too.
