From the talk about the guys who,hit the rocks at night on there boat I'm was wondering what was it like the first time you were out at night on the water.
For me I boat the river in beaumont and the stuff you see floating during the day would scare me at night I have tapped a log in the day no fun. So I try to be in before the sun goes down.
In 86 while at Lamar some friends and I were able to ride in the pilot house on the ferry to,galveston. The captain was the uncle of one of our friends. He let one of us pilot the ferry over as he stood. All,those years as a kid I thought there was a big wheel like you see in movies on the ferry. We were all a tad let down when we got up there. Galveston bay at night was so different.
