Galveston Bay Report 9/12

Last week was awesome with that calm weather. We caught tons of specks on the wells last week but they were a little on the small side. That light wind is just deadly on the wells. Shrimp was definitely the best bite. I threw artificials and caught quite a few but the numbers came from live shrimp under a popping cork about 3 to 3.5 ft down. This front is going to just push the fish a little farther northward. Todays wind didnt allow us to get out to the wells so we had to work protected shorelines over heavy oyster and clam. Just a steady bite today with perfect weather. Gotta love it FALL IS HERE!!!

Give me a call if you want to go hit it.

Thanks
