Where would be a cool place to visit for 3 nights?
I'm willing to go anywhere in Texas.
No big city stuff, I'm looking for something out of the way.
It'll be the wife and me, 14 year old daughter, 12 year old autistic son.... and a dog.
I was thinking maybe: Balmorhea State Park, Garner SP, Big Bend, SPI.
I've always wanted to see The Marfa Lights, so that is currently way up on the list.
One more thing, we love the ocean and are not opposed to renting a beach house somewhere and just chilling by the sea (with maybe a lil surf fishing for Dad).
I just don't want to bore the family to tears.
I would appreciate any suggestions.
