Pool Pipe Leak Repair Recommendations

I have determined I have a pipe leak on my skimmer return. Getting ground water close to my equipment and see bubbles coming through the line. I also noticed my other skimmer has developed a bulge and soon to be crack most likely due to a tree root. Need to replace it. I searched on the site and see recommendations for American and Lone Star leak repair companies. Anyone have experience with either in the past year? Or recommendations for another company? Was going to take a shot at it myself but the leak is by the gas and sewer lines and I get these flashbacks of a three stooges episode when they end up digging holes everywhere in a backyard :)
