Kerosene heater

I have a couple of green houses I built this year. My set ups are the Dutch bucket hydroponics system.

I am now looking for a way heat them. If I use the kerosene heaters will the smell of the diesel affect my plants,or lets say the taste of my tomatoes.

I know that I could spend a lot more money with running natural gas and heaters. I was just not wanting to spend that much at this time.
