Hi everyone!!!
I have a 1994 prowler fifth wheel. It says it is a 30amp and the trailer cord that is attached to the rv plug says 125v. My fuses are all great my batteries are all great my converter works great. I plug my rv to a 6500watt generator with a 50amp cheater as I needed a flurry pronged and that's all I could seem to find.... and she purrs beautifully lights work furnace kicks over fridge everything works and it doesn't drain at all. So I finally got my shore power hooked up at my acreage and I plug my rv in and it won't charge in my 30amp rv receptacle it starts draining as soon as the furnace kicks in and my converter isn't making any noise to let me knows it doing its job. So I checked with a volt meter and everything is perfect.
My question is does it possibly need 40 or 50 amps ??? And it was upgraded from previous owners.
