I bought this hummingbird 2 years ago, mounted and wired it myself and everything worked great. All except I mounted it about 1/4 inch to low and it would catch water and shoot it up into the engine cowling. I moved it up maybe 1.5" and now it won't read correctly when I start moving. The gps works but the depth jumps all over the place ranging from 1ft to 300ft. When I stop it will clear and then start reading correctly so thinking it was motor interference I moved it further away from the motor. Still the same thing. Any ideas?
