Picked up a Bushmaster XM15-E2S with the integral carry handle last weekend. Going to take it out and shoot it with the iron sights soon, but really want to replace the upper with a flat top so I can add some optics. Eyes ain't what they used to be...
Anyone familiar with Anderson Manufacturing? Local gun store will sell me the upper for $90, install it for $35, and I walk out with the original upper that I can sell or trade.
Anderson a decent brand? I'm new to AR's
Next question is what is the original upper worth? Rifle is nearly new. Less than 100 rounds through it, in excellent condition.
