after shooting hours?

If I shoot a deer in the late evening and I track it and find it wounded but it is 10 minutes past legal shooting time.



Obviously the ethical thing to do is to finish the animal off but is that legal if it is after shooting hours??



The last thing I want to do is let an animal suffer but I also dont want to lose my truck, guns, hunting privileges etc
