Toyota trucks, Yamaha outboards

I was just reading the latest thread about Toyota trucks, and it got me thinking...



The Tundra threads always seem to get a lot of posts about "I'll never own a rice burner truck, all the profits go to Japan", etc.



You don't see that on the Yamaha vs. Evinrude or Mercury outboard threads. I wonder why?



I see a lot of Ford trucks pulling boats with Yamaha motors.
