LaSalle County rains

Got to the lease east of Millet late. Had lambchops and a strong whiskey for dinner. Enjoyed a lightning show to the north and radar showed it missing us. Was pleasantly awoken to heavy thunderstorms about 3 or so. The gauge had a hair over 2" in it this morning. Sweet July rains make the red dirt bloom.
