My uncle bought my motor from Cabelas back in 2005. A trip to the La Marque TPWD office tells me that it's in my uncle's name but we don't have a title. I was about 19 back then. Didn't think about where the title was.
Guy from LM TPWD gives me a form and tells me to send $25 to Austin and they'll be sending me the title with my uncle's name on it. Didn't think they'd do that, but ok. Fast forward, I haven't got a title.
Well I called Austin today and explained the situation. Didn't have the motor number handy but she said I'd have to get the title from Cabelas. But they **** SURE cashed my $25 check. I'm going to call them back to either get my refund or get the title sent to me.
Anyone know the proper route to get the title back to me? I doubt Cabelas would still have it. I'm thinking they would have sent it to my uncle.
