I like to run in the back of carancahua lake from time to time. I've found the channel can be very difficult to navigate no matter what the tide looks like. The water is usually very murky from all the water movement and it's hard to see where all the shallow reefs are. I know my way down about 60% of the way but where you see the markers on my gps is where I lose direction. I know the channel is on the left for a long stretch but also there's an 8 foot deep area in the middle that I marked. The problem is when I try to cross from the west side of the cut to the middle I always drag bottom. I caution this area very slowly as to not rip my lower unit off. I've stayed on the left side before and hit shallow reefs as well so not sure. If anyone has a certain way they like to run this cut plz share it would help me with many headaches
