Hello all,
I recently purchased a 22' pass cavallo made by BEMM boat works. I took it to have a new Yamaha F115LA 4 stroke with a 20" shaft put on it. The rigger stated the boat required a 25'' shaft. I got a really great deal on the 20'' shaft and do not want to pony up the cash for a 2016 115. mainly because i do not feel the boat requires that length. There is a cmc 5'' power lift. The prop is a 13 1/4 X 17 three blade prop. I went to take a look at the boat and motor on Friday and to a level to see where the bottom of the boat was hitting the prop. the guys rigging the boat have never dealt with this type of boat. So I am unsure it they know what their doing.
I will post pics and would greatly appreciate your feedback.
