Well i've got a new boat, it's a 2005 Famous craft 1800xl technical polling skiff with a 2005 Suzuki DF140 motor. It's already got a four blade prop on it but i feel like it doesn't get on plane as fast as i would need it to in shallow water. My uncle has a 23 Shoalwater cat and when we get out of the shallow shallow stuff, I feel like his gets on place a lot faster. of course he's got a 250 merc on the back of hes. What pitch is best for hole shots on this motor?
