Guys, how do you get on water at Spring Creek?
I did some homework and found that there is a bunch of parks along the creek organized into something called Spring Creek Greenway. But launch access in these parks are literally draconian -- you are supposed to submit a form at least a day before launch and get it processed to reserve "the right", you can't launch after midday, you can't get out at the same spot you launched at (which means you can't go alone and you need somehow to get back before gates are closed -- 30 mins before sunset).
I was treading these rules and pressure inside of my skull shot up to dangerous levels. ***? Is there any good reason for this?
Anyways, apparently parks aren't a good option. I've tried to find something that would be more along the lines of "free access". Found these two spots:
spot #1
spot #2
... and I am not really sure about spot #1 -- it looks to be awfully close to one of those parks, could be within it's limits with all consequences.
Anyways:
- is there any better access for a kayak? Without draconian rules, so that I could start at sunrise/etc
- did I misunderstand something about these rules? If not -- how did you guys managed to **** away so much of your freedom? :hairout:
