Selling Boat

Just curious on opinions. When selling boat , I imagine cash is best, but what are drawbacks if the person is gonna finance. This is my first time selling something of this caliber. I'm talking about around 20000. Also, if cash is the deal, are there any special steps I gotta go through. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.. I'm just trying to cover all the basics and not get screwed
