Anyone ever add pods on their Jon Boat??

I have a 76' Ouchita riveted jon boat that is 5' wide at the bottom, but isn't deep. I put a new 30hp Suzuki Four Stroke on it. It is at the shop being installed with a static jack plate because of the 20" shaft on a 15" transom. The motor weighs 163lbs. I tried to research the specs on the boat, but couldn't find anything on it. Should I add pods on it? Is it worth the extra expense? If so, who would you guys recommend with the experience of fabing and fitting them? Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!!
