Support A Wounded Warrior

Each season at the Freer Deer Camp in Freer, Tx we hold the Venado Macho Deer Contest to raise funds for a Wounded Warrior. Our deer contest, the "Venado Macho" is in it's 21st year and has over 70 Catagories for both Men, Women, Youth and Wounded Warriors. 100% of all the entry fees,donations and proceeds from auctions held at the awards banquest are now given to support a Wounded Warrior. Last season we were able to raise $21,000 for our sponsored Soldier and his family. A new Soldier is picked each year and we are always looking for next the year's recipient. We pick from the many that have the greatest of needs and are no longer able to enjoy life as we do each day. Our Sponsors help us by awarding the Contest Winners and helping our Soldier. Our Contest is all about the Hunter and helping a Soldier in need. The Venado Macho has been a great success for our Wounded Warriors but we are hoping to make it an even bigger success this year and the years to come.
