well going down tonight for some more fun in the mud....... it rained 4 more inches Tuesday and Wednesday at the ranch .... roads are impassible , so its park at the county Rd and hall everything by 4 wheeler .1.5 miles oh well way better than working any day .. broth inlaw was their this AM and bucks are starting to rut he saw several busk running does hard !! :)
I will try to post up some pictures so you all can see how much ran we have had , so all the doubters can understand we are at 67" of rain since end of august.. hopefully we will start seeing the deer movement more normal , the wet conditions have changed how the deer have been moving on the ranch all year normal bedding areas have been under water . our deer are developing web feet .. and the pigs have over run the ranch !! if they walk out this weekend they will be getting a dirt nap :)
then my normal week hunting from Dec 19 thru Dec 24th . the rut will be in full swing .. and my new Night vision 300 black out will be in hand . the dark will not be the piggy's:) friend .
