Has anyone ever catfished Pine Island Bayou? The bayou runs into the Neches and serves as the border between Beaumont and Lumberton. I've been fishing it a lot lately for bass and crappie and wanted to know if anyone has ever targeted cats with rod and reel or trot/jug/limb lines. I know it is very deep and I've heard it holds some big catfish.
