I don't post much on here but I get on a couple times a week. Thought I'd share this.
My girlfriend and I finally had some days off together, so we decided to make a quick and easy trip to Corpus. In the back of my truck was a cheap Coleman 48qt ice chest, my dog asleep inside his kennel, and a 45 qt yeti cooler that was locked with the master lock cable academy sells. My GF and I go inside academy for maybe 30 min to pick up a few things to make it to the beach and maybe wet a line. Pay and walk out. As we get close to my truck my tailgate is down.
I've never had a dog until 3 months ago my GF got a half lab half weineriner mut puppy. The bond that dog and I have for only 3 months is amazing. I now know how dog owners feel towards their dog. He is family. He is my son.
Anytime we have left him in his kennel he has always been sitting up waiting for us to return. This time he wasn't. My heart sank. I didn't care about my yeti being stolen. I knew it was just a matter of time before that happens. We hollared for him as we got close to my truck. Nothing. We got closer. Nothing. I was wanting to cry. We walked behind my truck and he was there!
So to the piece of $#!+ that took my cooler, thank you for not taking my dog.
