Mine went up 10K over last year. A little note on the notice says it is actually down .3% from the last appraisal in 2009. I didnt realize it worked that way. So for the last five years, when it was going down they were just plugging in a standard decrease in value or what?
Also, I did a little research, and my neighbor down my same street who has the exact same home as me, is and always has been 10K lower than me. And thats taking into account the difference in land and my pool. So should I protest? I've never done it before. Seems straight forward enough, you can do it online.
