BS throw?

During the past 5 years or so [at least that's when I first began noticing it], cfb commentators and analysts have adopted a term to use to describe an underthrown pass......."back shoulder throw". With the crappy weather here the past couple days, I found myself watching Sooner games that I had recorded during that span of time. I heard the term in nearly every game. I guess the most famous instance was the throw to Crabtree to beat UT and allow OU to eventually "luck" their way into another BCS title game. I saw a throw by RG3 that was 45 yards down field where the receiver came back and fought for the ball. The announcer called it a perfectly planned "back shoulder throw". Sorry, but that was as simple as the qb saying "Oh shat" when he turned it loose. While some may be purposely thrown to a particular "spot"...IMO, the majority are just underthrown balls.

Opinions?
