Fat boys/causeway to mouth of deversionary

I usually launch Hitchcock to fish diversionary but would like to launch fatboys to and make my way either jones bay or come tiki island to channel and take it around that way but I've never attempted it could anyone point me in right direction or any heads up ...... Trying to avoid driving to Galveston for live bait and driving all the way to Hitchcock ..... Thanks for any help/info
