Thanks for the advice the old C200 workes better than it did when I bought it around 2000. Bought the 5 bearings plus a drop of royal purple.



I put the boca recommended 7's bearings in a curado E-7 plus a drop of royal purple and yesterday the reel would not get the distance the others did.



The reels had a work out as we got into a lot of 26-29 inch redfish and there were some straining poles with around 30 caught and lot more lost or had the hooks and splitrings destroyed. You said that I did not need the 7's and guess you were right.



What did I do wrong? The drop of RP?
