i'm going to buy a sit on top kayak soon and very soon for fishing in the surf. I frequent San Luis a lot, so I don't want to trust my life with something with sub-par stability.
Have been checking out academy's selection lately, just cause it's so convenient. anyone familiar with their line or yak's and know what a good, SAFE, beginer's would be for use in the surf?
Also, are the tandem rigs less stable and impractical for this application? I like the idea of being able to have another person along with only spending an extra hundred or so.
