For those looking for a Venice guide on your own boat...

I don't really advertise my freelance services on here, as most of my trips get passed down from Hunter or word-of-mouth. For those of you who don't know me, I have been fortunate enough to have mated for Capt. Hunter Caballero of Paradise Outfitters, who is arguably one of Venice's finest tuna captains, since February of 2009. I have spent the last few winters mating for Capt. Nick Stanczyk between Miami and Islamorada, dialing in the daytime swords. Some surgery in early January of this year left me unable to attend my normal classes or able to fish until very recently. I am having a boat built right now but it will not be available until June of this year. So between now and then, I will solely be running private trips and tournaments up until my boat gets delivered. Most guys come to Venice wanting to fill their freezers with tuna, and I can't blame them. But the blue marlin fishing is second to none, and it is far from being a summer only season. I am running a special for guys that want to devote one day to catching tuna, and another to either blue marlin or daytime swordfish. Feel free to message me for more details.
