Looking at the Keys, or possibly Key West. Looking to hook up on big tarpon on spinning tackle and also hunt some bonefish. Last bonefish I hooked was 2 years ago south if Playa Del Carmen by just getting some frozen shrimp at the hotel and wading a few miles down the road. He got off. Last one I caught was probably 25 years ago when I was about 6-7.
I'd like to do 2 full days with a guide. One, I'd like to specifically like to target tarpon. The next, I'd like to do an all around inshore trip, mostly after bonefish.
Guides, location, and any other advice would be great!
