A kid joins the army after high school so he can "see the world". On the third day he goes AWOL. The MPs find him at the bus station and take him back to the base. His commanding officer asks " son, why did you go AWOL after only 3 days?"
Kid "You see Sir, on the first day y'all gave me a comb then cut off all my hair"
Commander "Standard procedure. Everyone gets a haircut on their first day."
Kid "Yes sir, but on the second day Y'all gave me a toothbrush then pulled out two of my teeth."
Commander "Just looking out for the health of one of our enlisted men."
Kid "But you see, the third day I was issued jockey straps and that was when I decided to leave!"
