I have a yamaha 150 - 2002 - on the back of my boat. My boat has two dash board electronic guages, one for RPM and one for MPH, the later has a fuel guage in it that has horizontal bands - 8 to be exact. I put half a tank of fuel in the other day (four of 8 bands)... and all is good. Take a ride across Aransas Bay and look down and the and only the last band is visible and it is flashing - which mean I am supposedly about to run out of gas - but that can't be. Check connections and everything is fine. Spend $80 and put in a new electronic in-tank fuel sensor and guess what - nothing is different; last band still flshing, and I know I still have 1/2 tank of gas (can see it!). Anyone have any ideas? Rest of my dash guages light up and work, but for some reason the fuel guage is not picking up my fuel. Any help would be apprecaited.
