Sight casting reds in December

Set out to sight cast red fish in the marsh. That's right, sight casting in December. Well we drifted shorelines and missed a few then found them over shell in 2-3 ft of water. Using a large plastic was key in getting the fishes attention. I used a queen "cock of the walk" cocahoe all day to catch numerous red fish. I actually used the same cocahoe all day and caught plenty of fish.
