wife uses a 5'6" conventional with med sized (30 or 4/0) Lever Drag reel, for snapper hauling.
once a good fish gets on she has a hard time reeling with power and trying to prevent the rod from twisting in her left wrist.
options? she doesn't like spinning reels for bottom fish, she uses spinning reels for inshore and has no problems with good reds
is acid wrapped a solution that would work in this case to assist with the rod twist? or ?
